From Illinois to Indiana and from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin we will be having more fun, enjoying the best food and watching the 4th of July revelers like no one else in America.
We’ll be with our friends and family, sitting on the Summer Patio of our favorite Claddagh Irish Pub and Restaurant. Where else can you bring together the best of Ireland and the best of America but on a Claddagh summer patio.
All Irish pubs are famous for craic (pronounced ‘crack’). It’s a Gaelic word that means fun, enjoyment and a great time shared with friends – and that is exactly what you find at every one of our Claddagh Irish pubs and restaurants. The 4th of July is one of the happiest days of the year. It’s a day filled with American pride, parades, marching bands, waving ‘Old Glory’ and then, usually, cooking burgers and steaks on the back yard grill.
But, not this year. This year to really celebrate you must be sitting on one of our summer patios enjoying whatever takes your fancy. Here are a few suggestions. Let’s say you decide to visit the pub in Columbus Ohio. You’re wearing a smile as wide as the Bann and drinking a seasonal special brew from Elevator Brewery or from Great Lakes Brewery and you are digging into one of our famous Jameson Burgers or an amazing corned beef Paddy Mac. Or, perhaps, you drive into Middleton Wisconsin for a rare pint of Smithwick’s (pronounced ‘Smithick’) Irish Ale and to feast on a traditional shepherd’s pie or our famous all-day Irish Breakfast. Now, if you’ve never tasted Claddagh’s Irish soda bread then you’ve never really had a real breakfast. So, this 4th of July, create a new tradition. Celebrate American independence on the summer patio of any of the Claddagh pubs and restaurants.
